The Path of the Almighty Father, the Path of the Ancient Rishi’s…- Shree

Shree Swami Samarth maharaj or Swamiji is considered as an Avatar or a Divine Yogi from the Lord Dattartreya Lineage. Though there are many schools of teaching formed by devotees, Guru Mandir was established under Swamiji’s direct guidance, blessings and carries forward the lineage started by Him since 1857.

Throughout His stay in Akkalkot, Swamiji lead his disciples towards the most esoteric and ancient path to finding inner peace and happiness. He would be moved by the pain and suffering of one and all and wished to teach and empower everybody with the knowledge that would help them find inner peace & happiness.

Swamiji ordered His disciple Shree Balappa Maharaj to start the Guru Peetham (Lineage) with the objective of reviving this ancient wisdom and convey the true essence of knowledge to the world that was getting lost with time.  The Gurus that succeeded Swamiji continued to spread His message and teachings to the disciples. Param Sadguru Shree Gajanan Maharaj referred to as Shree, by the devotees worldwide was fourth in line of Shree Swami Samarth Tradition.

Shree introduced the path for achieving personal transformation, social reform and global harmony by way of Pancha Sadhan Marga (PSM) or the Five Fold Path. Pancha Sadhan Marga is the gist of the teachings of the Guru Tradition and is based on timeless Vedic wisdom. He urged everybody to learn and follow the tenets of PSM to replace negativity and darkness with positivity and peace in their lives.

Shree referred to PSM as Devayaan. Devayaan is a Sanskrit word that means Path of Light. Shree said that by following Devayaan even the Rishi’s attained their knowledge.

He rejuvenated the ancient most Upasana- Path towards Oneness, the practice of Agnihotra. Agnihotra is a technique for healing and finding inner peace which has transformed the lives of thousands of people around the world going beyond the man-made barriers of caste, creed, race, nationality and religion.
